In the week leading up to Election Day, I traveled with my NYU BER program to Scranton, Pennsylvania, to report on local issues. I arranged pre-election interviews with key officials—including Mayor Paige Cognetti, County Commissioner Matt McGloin, and City Council President Gerald Smurl—before our trip. I completed my article, along with turnaround edits, in just two days post the trip.

In a recent wealth valuation project on Gary Guthart, CEO of Intuitive Surgical, I drew on my finance background and investigative skills, diving into SEC EDGAR filings (Form 4, 14A, 10Q, 10K), county records, court records, Nexis, and PropertyShark. Despite a tight timeline—starting Sunday and submitting Monday, due to a weekend reporting trip—I completed a thorough, data-driven analysis. I demonstrated my commitment to detailed, investigative storytelling.

I was selected as a guest interviewee on NYU Now’s election edition live TV broadcast to discuss our reporting trip to Scranton. This experience gave me the chance to be on-air and gain valuable behind-the-scenes newsroom experience. Watch my segment starting from 39 minutes and 23 seconds.
